Pass Boundary Pub (MG Plaque)
Still on Oxford Rd, 300M's after Boundary pub
Look for Footpath on the left
Wend through housing Ring Road
Cross Abingdon Ring Road (Fast Traffic)
Follow footpath through fields
Cross A34 via "farm" bridge
Follow Tarmaced Track (Known as Pen Lane) to the right
Continue to delightful village of Sunningwell
Turn left into Sunningwell
On right is the delightful "Flowing Well" pub
The Flowing Well pub has a large beer garden
Otherwise continue past the Sunningwell pond
A little further take the footpath on the right
Continue upwards to Boars Hill
Note the modest dwellings
Boars Hill has many footpaths
Abingdon or Abbendune was supposed to have originated on Boars Hill
